Florida Man Wins $1 Million Lottery Thanks to Another Person’s Bad Manners.

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your scratch-offs, because you’re about to hear a tale of luck so unbelievable, it’ll make you want to run to your nearest convenience store and buy a ticket (or three).

Meet Stephen Munoz Espinoza, a 43-year-old Delray Beach resident who just won a cool $1 million playing the lottery. But, wait, it gets better. Espinoza didn’t just randomly pick a winning ticket, oh no. He won because of someone else’s bad manners.

According to Fox 8, Espinoza was at Publix, ready to buy a ticket at the machine, when a man cut right in front of him. Instead of getting mad, Espinoza decided to buy a 500X the Cash scratch-off ticket at the counter instead. And that, my friends, is where the magic happened. He picked up a $1 million-winning scratch-off ticket.

When asked about his big win, Espinoza said it was still hard to believe. But, we believe it, Stephen. And, we believe that the universe works in mysterious ways. Who knows, maybe that man who cut in front of him was sent by fate to lead Espinoza to his fortune.

Espinoza and his wife are now planning on buying a home for their family. And, we can only imagine that this home will be one of those fancy ones with a room just for scratch-off tickets.

Now, before you go off to your nearest Publix, keep in mind that the odds of winning a prize of any amount are 1-in-4.5, and the odds of winning $1 million are 1 in 267,739. But, hey, you never know, that man who cuts in front of you at the lottery machine might just be the luck you need.

We all know that tickets to the Super Bowl aren’t cheap, but in Florida your money can go a long way for the price of just one.

As of today, January 26th, the cheapest ticket on VividSeats is $4,606 for an upper corner seat, and the most expensive is $35,841 for a 4th row ticket.  The matchup hasn’t even been announced yet for the game on February 12th, but already the hype is real.

In the NFC fight, we’ve got the Philadelphia Eagles vs the San Fransico 49ers Sunday at 3pm. The AFC Championship game will be a battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday at 6:30pm.

Not only is the price of a ticket super expensive, but let’s talk about the price of concessions. While we won’t know the true cost of everything until the game, last year prices were through the roof. I think last time I went to the watch the Bucs, I paid $18 for a beer, but at last year’s big game, they were even more expensive. I can only imagine the price of a hot dog!

While it would definitely be cool to be there for the game, I can’t justify spending $5000 on a ticket to anything. And that’s for the cheap seats! If you’ve got some extra cash to spare, here’s some more practical ways to spend that money.
