The Powerball jackpot continues to grow as no one matched all the numbers. However, there are some fresh millionaires. The lottery hasn’t released the exact locations of the winning tickets yet, so we don’t know if it’s a new Southwest Florida Powerball millionaire, or some other part of the state. But someone in Florida got 5 out of 5 but missed the Powerball. That ticket will net one lucky Floridian a million dollars.
Last night’s winning numbers
The February 4th drawing was 2 – 8 – 15 – 19 – 58, and the red ball was 10.
Nationwide there were four match 5 winners. Florida, New Jersey, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. Those 4 tickets are worth a million each. Getting 4 out of 5 + the Powerball gets you $100,000 – there are 7 of those tickets out there in Florida.
Because no one won the jackpot, the next Powerball drawing on Monday night, February 6th, is for $747 million.
Speaking of Southwest Florida Powerball, the other big one, the Mega Millions winner from October will be known soon.
That was the ticket that was sold at 7-Eleven, located at 2980 Colonial Boulevard in Fort Myers. The ticket, bought just a couple of weeks after Hurricane Ian, was good for a share of $494 million. Once the person claims the prize, the lottery gives them a grace period before releasing their name to the public. That grace period is almost up. So if your neighbor is acting weird…..
