Flo Rida’s Son In ICU After Falling From 5-Story Window
LOS ANGELES, CA - JANUARY 26: Rapper Flo Rida performs at the Viacom Hollywood Office Grand Opening on January 26, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.
Flo Rida’s six-year-old son is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU). The boy fell from a five-story apartment building window earlier this month. According to the Daily Voice, Alexis Adams, mother to Zohar Dilliard, filed a lawsuit against the Jersey City building’s management on Monday (March 27). She claims the building management was “negligent and careless and did not install size guards on the window.” Adams believes that’s what led to the fall.
Zohar “suffered a shattered pelvis, metatarsal fractures, a liver laceration, internal bleeding, and collapsed lungs.” He was previously diagnosed with autism and a brain condition called hydrocephalus. “As a single mom to a special needs child, this feels like a nightmare,” Adams said. “My heart is broken into a million pieces. It is devastating to see my child go through such pain and trauma knowing that this could’ve been avoided.”
Adams filed a lawsuit with the Hudson County Superior Court. She is requesting financial compensation to treat her son’s injuries. The amount Adams is requesting has not been disclosed. Zohar’s father, rapper Flo Rida, was not named in the suit. Flo Rida’s real name is Tramar Lacel Dillard. He has not yet commented on the suit.
Flo Rida recently won a lawsuit against the sports drink company Celsius. The rapper born Tramar Lacel Dillard, and his company Strong Arm Productions sued Celsius for alleged breach of contract, and unpaid compensation over an endorsement deal signed with the artist in 2014 and renewed in 2016, Law & Crime Network reports. The rapper was awarded $82.6 million in damages.
Three Southwest Florida Spots Made Yelp’s New List of Top 100 Florida Restaurants
Yelp is out with a new list. They rated the Top 100 Florida Restaurants of 2023 and Southwest Florida has 3 on the list. All in all, Fort Myers, Naples, and Fort Myers Beach made the list. It’s actually pretty incredible since the Fort Myers beach restaurant that made the list just recently reopened since Hurricane Ian. It’s a nice nod to them on the amazing progress they made in getting things up and running again.
The Yelp list ” is based on our community’s ratings and reviews.” So after someone eats at one of these establishments, they feel strongly enough about the experience to go online and express that. We’ll get to the Top 10 of Florida in a bit, let’s see where our local places stack up against the rest of the state in Yelp’s list of Top 100 Florida Restaurants.
At number 57 is Uncle Rico’s Pizza in Fort Myers. You can find them at 2960 Cleveland Avenue, just south of Lee Memorial. Yelp reviewers cannot stop raving about this place. More than one person referred to their pie as “perfect”. That’s what I want in a pizza place. Pepperoni knots, house special pizzas, and Jamaican Beef Patties are go-tos. According to their Insta, they reopen on Friday. Expect a crowd.
