I’ve never been on a cruise, but plan on going (finally!) sometime this year. What I love about where we live when it comes to cruising, is that it’s just a short drive to the ports in Palm Beach, Miami or Fort Lauderdale, so no additional money needs to be spent on flying. Also love the idea of jumping on a boat and getting out of the country for a few days.
Margaritaville At Sea just announced that they are going to start offering an unlimited cruise subscription for trips to the Bahamas. The “Ultimate Paradise Pass” starts at $899 and allows travelers to cruise on the Margaritaville At Sea Paradise as many times as they want on non-consecutive two-night stays throughout 2023. AND it allows you to bring a friend for free!
So how do I get one?
You’ll have to move fast, as there is a limited quantity of just 500 passes on sale now. The only “catch” if you will is that when using the pass, you can only book 24-72 hours ahead of time. Usually I need a little more time than that to arrange a dog sitter, day off work, etc. But if none of that applies and you’re super flexible, I think this is an amazing deal. On their website now, per person, you can find cruises for as low as $101 up to $389, so it’s already priced very well if you just want to do one.
Of course, as on any cruise ship, you’ll find plenty of bars and restaurants, entertainment, a spa, casino and excursions. And because it’s Margaritaville, I’m sure no shortage of frozen concoctions to help you hang on.

Now, passengers can buy a season pass to paradise and enjoy long walks on the beach throughout the year. Florida Is Tops For Luxury Travel
Florida is tops for luxury travel according to a new report. The yacht charter experts at Ritzy Charters did the research. To come up with the list, they analyzed Google Trends data uncovering interest in luxurious travel. Some of the specific search terms they looked for included “luxury vacations,” “luxury vacation rentals,” and “luxury resort.” There were eleven items and each was assigned points. Then the points were totaled to come up with this final, luxurious list. It is a 100 point scale. Florida actually ranked number two on the nationwide search.
The Queen Elizabeth II (QE2) ship is a famous luxury cruise ship. Florida is also home to a luxury yachting community.
Why Florida
The sunshine state boasts some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Beautiful beaches are a perfect setting for magnificent accommodations. We have stunning resorts and beautiful vacation rentals beachfront as well as inland. However, this report says more and more people are looking for nautical adventures along the Florida coastline. The Sunshine State also gets high marks in the categories of “luxury cruise” and “luxury yacht.”
The Mid-Atlantic region of the country had three states making the top ten list. Virginia is number seven, Washington D.C is number nine and Maryland is number ten. Finally, on the opposite end of the spectrum, North Dakota ranked last. It seems the state is not not of the mind when it comes to luxury getaways. Perhaps people who visit there are looking for more rustic experiences.

#3 Connecticut
Luxury vacation is what people search for when visiting Connecticut. Total score is 68.45.

Florida’s total points where 71.09 to come in number two on the luxury list.
#1 New York
New York takes the title with a score of 80.18
