Miami Florida’s Haulover Beach Is The 8th Best Place To Skinny Dip In The US

I’m just as stunned as you. I really thought Miami Florida and Haulover Beach would rank higher when it comes to public nudity. But other factors were in play. Maybe the element of danger? Dating advice website My Dating Adviser has released its 2023 list of the top 100 places to skinny dip in the world. “Our study compared 100 nude beach spots across the following categories: beach quality, safety, weather, and hotel cost (with seven data points),” they said. “We then ranked the top 25 nude beaches globally, with the best location per country.”

The study ranked the best 100 nude beaches in the world, but let’s see where Florida ranks when we just break it down to the places here in the states.

  • 1. Washougal River, WA
  • 2. Mazo Beach, WI
  • 3. Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, MI
  • 4. Black’s Beach, CA
  • 5. Little Beach, HI
  • 6. Hippie Hollow, TX
  • 7. Strawberry Hot Springs, CO
  • 8. Haulover Beach, FL

Those top 3 are clearly seasonal as there is no way you wanna spend time naked up there in the winter. It’s also illegal in Michigan to be skinny dipping. Hence the element of danger……

Black’s Beach is near San Diego and part of the beach is clothing-optional.

It’s technically not legal to skinny dip in Hawaii, but on Little Beach it’s not enforced.

Hippie Hollow in Austin Texas is straight nude. 8 bucks to get in. 18 and up only. Bring lots of alcohol and water.

The next place in Colorado is a snowy hot springs that goes clothing optional after dark.

Haulover Beach is a nude beach just north of Miami Beach. It’s actually the largest public nudist beach in the US, so you won’t be alone as you soak up the sun.

Now I need to go delete my browser history. I’m on my work computer and this search history may raise some eyebrows over at IT.
