I don’t know about you, but I’ll never turn down free money and you may be entitled to free money from a Facebook settlement.
Facebook has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit for a HUGE amount of money: $725 million. The good news is that you’re probably entitled to some of that money.
The case goes back to a scandal in 2018 where there’s allegations that Facebook was sharing users’ information without permission.
If you had a Facebook account between May 24, 2007 to December 22, 2022 you can file a claim online or download a form to mail in. You have until August 25th to apply.
Now, they haven’t said yet how much each person is entitled to. It may not be much because while it is $725 million, it could be shared between up to 280 million Facebook users. Of course, that’s if everyone files a claim. We know that won’t happen, so it’s worth taking the few minutes to do it. Also, they’re giving people more money based on how many months during that time frame you had an account. Even if it just buys me a cup of coffee one morning, I’ll be happy. Free money is hard to come by, so when you can get your hands on it, why not!?

You Won't Believe What The Average Wedding Costs In Florida
We all know that weddings can be very expensive, but you won’t believe what the average wedding costs in Florida.
So, you’re thinking about tying the knot, huh? Congratulations! But before you get too excited, there’s something you need to know – weddings are EXPENSIVE.
I’m not just talking about a few thousand dollars here and there, I’m talking about the kind of money that would make for a great down payment on a house, a brand new car or even a small island in the Caribbean. Okay, maybe not the last one, but you get the point. I’m always surprised when I hear just how much people spend on their weddings. But it IS your special day, so I understand wanting to go all out.
Thinking about the costs that come with a wedding, of course you need a venue. Then you need catering, flowers, decorations, a DJ and a photographer. Of course, after all that you want to take off on a honeymoon too right? It’s already getting expensive and that’s not even everything!
The Knot is a popular wedding website and just released their 2022 Real Wedding Study. In it, it determines the average cost of weddings in each state. Last year in Florida, the average wedding cost $30,000. And that $30,000 only includes the cost of the ceremony and the reception! Those that have traveled down to Florida may have paid more, as the average cost of a destination wedding in the US is $36,400.
