Fort Myers Japanese Steak House Ranked Best For Sushi
A Japanese Steak House and Sushi lounge in the Bell Tower Shops has been given a top ranking in USA Today‘s 10Best feature. DaRuMa was recognized for having the best sushi in Fort Myers. “DaRuMa Restaurant is named after Bodhidharma, the founder and first patriarch of Zen,” their website explains. Guests can choose either their traditional dining room service or Teppan-style grilling over a hot plate at your table.
“There is a sushi lounge and a good sized bar where you can watch the masters skillfully slice and roll a myriad of ingredients, creating fresh rolls that are almost too pretty to eat,” 10Best explains. Their Fort Myers sushi menu includes rolls in six to eight pieces. In addition, you can indulge in items like a Tuna Trio direct from the sushi bar, white tuna sashimi or a candy cane specialty roll (topped with red and white tuna).
Light My Fire
This sushi’s on fire! Though you may see the dueling chefs master this trick, you can also get served volcano sushi with flare. Some of DaRuMa’s most creative sushi plates have a strong visual element. A slight fire on the plate enhances the presentation of the spicy roll selections. There’s a fire roll, volcano roll, and galaxy roll. Each has their own touch of (extra) wasabi or sriracha.
What About Drinks?
There are plenty of options to wash it down. DaRuMa’s full bar provides elegant and comfortable seating. They demonstrate how they make their signature “Old Fashioned” here. 10Best is USA Today‘s travel coverage series highlighting attractions, destinations, and food items around the county.
