Try It Tuesday: The Bohemian
In a new Try It Tuesday feature, I want to put the spotlight on The Bohemian in Bonita Springs, a fantastic restaurant I tried last weekend.
I’m all about trying new restaurants. Maybe not new to the area, but new to me. When it comes to food, I find myself pretty adventurous and am always looking for places that offer something different and I found that at The Bohemian in not only their food, but their drinks as well.
The Bohemian is located right on the corner of Old 41 & Bonita Beach Road in the newly renovated Entrada. Everything from the look of the restaurant to the food to the service was impeccable. I absolutely love the vibe with the lighting and eclectic decor.
I went with my friend Christina and we started the night with a few cocktails. She ordered the Green Goddess, a drink with sake, egg white, yuzu, cilantro and basil. It was SO fresh tasting and absolutely delicious. And what’s cool is that the herbs used in their food and drinks are grown either in their rooftop garden or sourced locally. I had the Tiki Vibez made with limoncello, orange wine, pistachio orgeat and fresh lime juice… very tropical!
The food was incredible. I will say that the prices are a bit high, but each dish is unique and delicious. The flavors of everything were just delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. It’s tapas style, so we ordered one at a time (we were in no rush) until we were full. I will say at some restaurants with sharable dishes, the portions can be small, but not here. We got the Sweet Pig Buns, Crispy Chicken Chicharonnes and Roasted Bone Marrow & Brisket.
Would I go back?
That is a definite yes. I recommend The Bohemian for a date night, a girls night or with a group of friends. I can’t wait to go back and try some of their other dishes (and drinks!).
