Hooters Celebrates Teacher Appreciation at Orangewood Elementary School In Fort Myers
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, some of the Fort Myers Hooters girls delivered special donations to Orangewood Elementary School in Fort Myers. Fort Myers Hooters Girls Hilary Almaraz, Tara Archer, Sydney Jacobs and Emily Shaffer visited the school on May 1.
Hooters donated brand new outdoor equipment including jump ropes, soccer balls and hula-hoops for each grade and items for some students. The teachers and educators were treated to a luncheon, including boneless wings, salad and dessert to show appreciation for hard work, dedication and commitment to our future generations.
“We wanted to take this opportunity to do something special for our educators and let them know we appreciate everything they do for children in Fort Myers. Giving back and being active in our community is a priority for all of our Hooters locations in Southwest Florida,” said South Florida Hooters Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.
“I along with the entire staff of Orangewood Elementary School, want to thank you for your overwhelming generosity of supplying a full luncheon to kick off our teacher appreciation week. Not only for feeding our teachers, but also for supplying each grade with mesh bags full of recess equipment. We truly were amazed and overwhelmed by your generous support to our school! Keep providing!! Your community THANKS YOU,” said Jodie Shaffer from Orangewood Elementary School.
“Giving back to our community is a major priority to Hooters, seeing the appreciation from students and teachers makes me proud to be a part of such an amazing team,” said Emily Shaffer who works at Fort Myers Hooters.
