Wendy’s Summer Menu: The Perfect Combo of Spicy and Sweet
It’s getting hot in here, and we’re not just talking about the weather here in Fort Myers, Florida. Wendy’s has launched its summer menu, and it’s all about the heat. Brace yourselves, spice lovers, because the star of the show is the Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich. According to Yahoo, Wendy’s very own Culinary experts says this sandwich is an eight or nine out of ten on the spiciness scale. I like Spicy. So I’ll have to make this my new routine when I leave work in Estero and cruise back home to Cape Coral!
The Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich comes with four layers of heat, including ghost pepper American cheese, lettuce, tomato, crispy onions seasoned with ghost pepper and ranch, and ghost pepper ranch sauce. But don’t worry, folks, the ranch is there to balance out the heat, so it’s the perfect mix of spicy and delicious. We promise you’ll want to devour the entire sandwich in one bite.

But what goes better with a spicy sandwich than Ghost Pepper Fries? Wendy’s knew its fans couldn’t resist the Hot & Crispy Fries, so they decided to add a touch of heat to them. The Ghost Pepper Fries have a unique seasoning and come with the new ghost pepper ranch sauce, which is the perfect complement to the chicken sandwich.
If all the heat is too much to handle, don’t worry. You can always cool down with Wendy’s Strawberry Frosty, which was a huge hit last summer and is making a comeback. It was so popular that it’s replacing the Vanilla Frosty again. Even Vanilla Frosty fans couldn’t resist the strawberry flavor last year.
