$275 Nachos, $50 Buckets of Beers, And More Insane Food Prices At The Miami F1 Race

If there was ever a reason to pregame before a sporting event in Miami, it was last weekend. Ticket prices at the Miami Grand Prix were generally more than a $1,000 each but that’s just where things started. You want a few bottles of water while you enjoy the Miami F1 Race? That’ll be $25. Twenty-five dollars for a bottles of water! Rather a beer? A bucket of 16 ounce Heineken was $50. A wine bottle starts at $130. Maybe a mixer? Bottle service for  Tito’s vodka drinks was priced at $560. For the price of ONE Tito’s bottle at the race, you could buy 28 bottles of Tito’s at Total Wine at Coconut Point. Here’s some of the other ridiculous drink prices. We’ll get to the food, next.

$275 for nachos. if you’re trying to eat healthy, a cup of fruit will set you back $295. That’s in the hospitality section. Those are the people they’re trying to squeeze the cash from. The VIPs. And to be fair, that is for a serving of 4. What about the regular people? The people in the stands? The $42 Wagyu steak sandwich sounds nice. Sounds nice.

That’s not Wagyu steak. It looks a lot like Hillshire Farm’s Deli Ham. C’mon Miami. We’re better than this.

I watched the Miami F1 Race at home with a $2.19 bag of Aldi’s pretzels. 

 

Celebrity Sightings: Photos From The VIP Section At F1 Miami Grand Prix

Formula 1 made it’s second trip to Miami for the Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. On the track, Max Verstappen recovered from ninth place on the grid to beat Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez to victory at the F1 Miami Grand Prix. But even if you weren’t a fan of the racing, there was still plenty to do (and see) at the F1 Miami race last weekend. The VIP section was hopping.

We’ve got NFL stars, tennis legends, even Shakira and Tom Cruise. I’ve seen plenty of photos from fans in the stands, but what does it take to be VIP at the Grand Prix of Miami? You gotta be these people level of famous.
