Surprising Florida City Claims Spot Among America’s Wildest, It’s Not Miami
When night falls, the city becomes a playground of wild adventures and unforgettable moments. From vibrant rooftop bars to hidden underground speakeasies, the possibilities are endless. OLBG, the sports betting community site, wanted to find out which cities have a reputation for being wild when it comes to partying. Through analysis of factors such as the abundance of casinos, strip clubs, and the prevalence of marijuana and cocaine, they aimed to identify the cities with a notorious reputation for being wild and vibrant.
Which Florida city ranked in the Top 10?
Believe it or not, even with its lack of strip clubs and just 1.79 casinos per 100,000 residents, Sarasota lands a solid #8 spot in the rankings. Turns out, around 22% of adults in Sarasota are heavy drinkers, fueling the party vibes. About 20.4% of people in the city have tried cocaine, not too far behind the top cities. Florida had other cities make the list too. Tampa grabs #11, Jacksonville takes #24, and Miami secures #35 on the wildest cities list.
Reno Ranks #1 As Wildest City in The U.S.
Reno reigns supreme, though. They secured the crown as the ultimate party hub in the United States with an impressive overall score of 8.61/10. Dubbed the ‘Biggest Little City,’ it’s no wonder Reno has made a bold statement in this ranking. This city truly shines when it comes to amenities and entertainment, as highlighted by the study. The abundance of casinos (7.90 per 100,000 residents) and strip clubs (3.23 per 100,000 residents) is a testament to this city’s vibrant and lively scene.

Several genres of music and different themes are represented in Florida festivals. There are coastal fests for ideal scenery, college campus fests prime for a good time, and more secluded camping-style fests. Many of the most trusted festival aggregates show events already scheduled in Florida way into 2024. With 825 miles of sandy beaches and two coastlines, Florida offers festival-goers that opportunity to build an entire getaway experience around the show.
