Florida Restaurant Ranked One of the Best Overall in the U.S.
It’s a given that Florida has fantastic restaurants, since we are such a popular tourist spot. Really, opening a restaurant in Florida is a great idea for anyone who wants to get into the food business, if you ask me. Of course, Florida’s seafood is popular, but the state has a lot more to offer, too. Now, one publication has ranked the No. 1 best Florida restaurant in the state. I can’t imagine how lucky the people were who got to try different restaurants around Florida, and the U.S., to determine the tastiest food.
The new ranking is by ShermansTravel.com. “Foodies take note: We’ve rounded up the best restaurant in each state, from Delaware’s first Italian joint to a 50-year-old California restaurant that started the farm-to-table movement,” they state in the article. Most, if not all, of the restaurants featured in this article are locally-owned, which is extra great.
Before we reach Florida, let’s look at Georgia, since it’s nearby. They went with Miller Union in Atlanta. “The menu, brought to you by James Beard Award-winning chef Steven Satterfield, is an ode to the ever-changing harvest,” they explain. “The creative plates keep diners coming back for more.” It’s such a special thing when a restaurant changes their menu for each season. Count me in.

As for the top Florida restaurant, the publication’s top choice is Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami . They called it “a must-visit for tourists and locals alike.” They add, “Of course, the mainstay is known for its stone crab, but diners can find other seafood-forward dishes like crab cakes, snapper po’ boys, soft shell crab sandwiches, and much more.” That sounds delicious in every way.
