If you’re one who likes to Eat Fresh, Subway is taking sandwiches to new heights with a flying footlong in Florida.
You may be wondering how footlongs can fly, but they certainly can with the new Subway in the Sky. I definitely enjoy a good Subway sandwich or protein bowl. Thankfully, I have one right around the corner from me in Fort Myers, so they know me by name. And probably by order too. Call me predictable. The Subway in the Sky is a blimp that looks like a giant sandwich. Particularly, The Beast, only this one is almost 180 feet long. If you’re in Orlando or Miami, or up for the trip, you can experience it for yourself.
The Subway in the Sky will be stopping in cities across the U.S.
The Subway in the Sky can hold six passengers per trip and will be stopping in different cities across the country. Here in Florida, the blimp will make stops in Orlando September 19 & 20 and Miami September 24 & 26. According to a press release, up to 40 fans of Subway will get to enjoy a sandwich “flight” of all four of the Deli Hero subs as they float 1,000 feet up in the air.
