When you think of how many bars there are nationwide, you know it’s a huge honor that a bar in Miami has been named one of the best in the world.
If you’re looking to head out for a drink, you probably have a favorite. I tend to head toward the beach in Fort Myers because a) it’s right down the street from where I live and b) because you can never go wrong with a waterfront view. It could be a little dive with cheap beer or maybe it’s a big sports bar where they have 50 TVs so you won’t miss a minute of the action. You might prefer a rooftop bar downtown with a swanky setting and a good DJ. We all have our favorites for a variety of reasons.

TheWorlds50best.com released their list of the best bars in the world and one bar in Miami made the list. Miami is known for Cuban food and a good mojito, especially in the Little Havana neighborhood and in that neighborhood you’ll find Café La Trova, which came in at #24 on the list. According to the website, Café La Trova is “an unmissable destination in Miami’s lively bar scene.” You’ll enjoy live music and find traditional Cuban-style bartenders serving up Cuban cocktails like mojitos, daiquiris, and berticas. The bar also serves food with dishes like empanadas, croquetas, a variety of tapas and entrees like lechon, ropa vieja and picadillo.
