Florida Woman’s Ex-Husband Jailed for Trying to Frame Her Boyfriend
There’s nothing worse than a jealous man… Especially a jealous Florida man. A 44-year-old ex-husband recently tried to pull a fast one on the law, but his cunning plan quickly backfired. Meet Rishil Bisnath, a man with a not-so-ordinary approach to dealing with his ex-wife’s new boyfriend.
According to WPEC, the saga began when Mr. Bisnath decided to orchestrate his very own drama, starring himself as the victim. He reached out to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) to report a threat he had received. You’d think he’d come up with something better, but no, he went with the classic “I will kill your kids before they turn old” message. Not very creative, Rishil.
The disgruntled ex-husband had a slick plan, or so he thought. He claimed that the ominous message had come from his ex-wife’s new boyfriend, who he had apparently painted as the villain of this soap opera. However, it didn’t take the responding deputy long to see through this poorly constructed house of cards.
Ex-husband Bisnath’s motive?
He wanted the cops to pay a visit to his ex-wife’s residence. This wasn’t his first rodeo, though. It turns out he had dialed up the PBSO hotline eight times in the past, all for the sake of requesting welfare checks on his kids. One could say he had quite the creative imagination, but not in a good way.
Well, his plan didn’t quite pan out the way he intended. The arrest report confirmed that there was no real reason to believe the kids were in any danger. That’s when the cuffs came out, and the would-be mastermind found himself in the custody of the PBSO, facing charges.
As he was being hauled off, Bisnath allegedly tried to make a grand exit by claiming, “You can’t take me to jail.” But it turns out they could, and they did.
Bisnath’s escapade ended with a night behind bars and a court date on the horizon.
