Things got extra spicy when a Florida man turned a family argument into an all-out fried chicken attack! According to FOX35, this extra crispy tale unfolded in Clearwater, with a 20-year-old man named Khanye Medley. This dude cooked up a rather unconventional altercation with his sister. The weapon of choice? Fried chicken.
Now, I have sisters, and I know how sibling spats can get heated sometimes. But never have I launched a fried chicken attack! Now mashed potatoes is another story. But when Medley and his sister got to fighting, as siblings sometimes do, instead of exchanging words like civilized folks, Medley decided to escalate things in a truly unique way. He allegedly snatched a bag of Church's Chicken from his sister's clutches and, with the precision of a poultry ninja, started flinging pieces at her!
Fried Chicken Attack Weapon:

It must have been quite the scene... Juicy chicken wings and crispy drumsticks flying through the air, leaving a trail of breadcrumbs and chaos! One particularly well-aimed piece smacked his sister square in the back and leaving a greasy bullseye on her shoulders. It was a family meal turned into a violent fried chicken attack! Fowl play in the works with a deep-fried weapon of choice.
Of course, the authorities were called to the scene, and Medley found himself in a bit of a pickle. He was promptly arrested and charged with battery due to the fried chicken attack. Which is no way to treat family in the eyes of the law. In the end, Khanye knew he was cooked and confessed to his chicken chucking. He explained that he was simply hangry and not really in the mood for his sister's peace offering from Church's chicken.

Luckily, Medley was eventually released from custody in Pinellas County. But the saga of the fried chicken attack will likely be a grease stain upon this family for years to come. Next time at your family gathering, and tempers start to flare, maybe leave the chicken out of it. It's ment to be enjoyed not tactically deployed.
Fried Chicken Attack Classic:
If I've said it once, I've said it a million times. There is a national holiday for just about everything nowadays.
According to National Day Calendar it's time to honor the chicken wing because National Chicken Wing Day is on July 29th.
How fitting it falls on a Saturday this year. I just wish we had some football to watch, to go along with the wings.
Anyway, with the day quickly approaching, I thought I'd find out where we can find the best chicken wings in Fort Myers. So, I enlisted the help of the friendly folks over at Yelp!
As most of us know, Yelp uses customer reviews and ratings to determine their rankings in a given location. While I do agree this list is full of some delicious wings, two of my favorites aren't included and I refuse to leave them out.
Of course, Hooter's is my number one! I have yet to find wings I prefer over these breaded bites of joy, covered in the hot sauce, nothing is better. And my second favorite, also not on the Yelp list, are the wings at Pott's Sports Cafe, extra crispy, hot, to die for.
Enough about my favorites (although you should listen to me), here are 10 hot spots for chicken wings in Fort Myers.
Next up we can debate ranch vs blue cheese 😉
