Xanax Panic: Florida Man Demands Pills, Threatens to Burn Down Family Home
A Florida man named Leandro Seepersad went into full xanax panic mode because he couldn’t get more pills. According to WFLA, he was so desperate, he threatened to burn down the house and kill his own mom and stepdad if they didn’t cough up more of the drug. Yeah, he was anything but relaxed.
This all went down back on July 25th, when Marion County deputies got called to the scene for a domestic situation. Seepersad was demanding his mom’s Xanax. He must of been in the throes of withdrawal or a full xanax panic to be threatening everyone and acting the way he was. That’s when his parents tried to leave, and he smashed up their car. Dude tore off the side mirror like he was tearing up cardboard.
Xanax Panic Attack:
But when the cops got there, his mom suddenly started downplaying the whole thing. First, she was all “He’s gonna kill us!” and then she’s like, “Nah, the mirror thing was an accident. And maybe he didn’t really mean those death threats.” Sounds like someone’s trying to protect her kid. Even when he’s acting like a xanax panic stricken maniac! Can’t blame her though, she’s his mother.
Even after he got cuffed, Seepersad wasn’t done. While sitting in the cop car, he was giving orders to his mom to hide his stash and keep his cash flow coming. He even told her to make sure his stepdad drops the charges or else they’re gonna die while he’s in prison. Real nice guy, right?
Turns out, Seepersad isn’t new to this kind of insanity. The guy’s been wrapped up in things like armed robbery, gun charges, and, of course, all kinds of drug stuff. This time though, they nailed him with a couple of assault charges and a little criminal mischief for that busted car mirror.
So for now, Leandro’s locked up, probably not getting any Xanax anytime soon, and his family is left to deal with his mess. I feel for them. Drug addiction is a horrible disease.
