No matter where you live, I’m sure you can find some enjoyment there, but 5 Florida cities have made a list of the most fun cities in America.
When I think of places I’ve lived over the years, there are definitely some places that have been more fun than others. Take Chicago for instance. I loved living there, and especially in the summer, there was so much to do and so little time to do it. It seems that the city crams a year’s worth of activities into the 3 months between Memorial Day and Labor Day and every weekend was an absolute blast. Then I moved to Fargo, North Dakota. Sure, there were things to do, but would I say it was “fun” to live there? No.
But moving to Florida is really when the fun kicked up a notch. I first landed in Sarasota and now am in Fort Myers, both cities that I find have a lot going on. Whether it’s foodie or brew festivals, live music, beach days, sporting events..there really is something for everyone. And best of all, with our exceptional year-round warm weather, we can enjoy these things 365 days a year. For some, it might take a larger city that’s always bustling to be fun, but sometimes the laid back, low-cost route makes for a good time too.

Stacker just released their list of the most fun cities in America, based on study done by WalletHub, and 5 Florida cities made the list. They looked at 182 cities in areas like entertainment & recreation, nightlife & parties and cost. Which Florida cities made the list? Coming in at #2 is Orlando. Makes perfect sense being a theme park mecca. Miami came in at #3, Tampa at #17, Fort Lauderdale at #18 and Jacksonville at #37.
