A $1.25 million payment sealed the end of Ariana Grande's marriage to Dalton Gomez in March 2024. They were married during a small Montecito wedding in May 2021 and broke up in late 2022. The couple's relationship started falling apart while Grande was filming her role as Glinda in 'Wicked' in London. The divorce settlement followed the terms of their prenuptial agreement, and they split the money from their LA home sale equally.

On the set of 'Wicked,' work continued despite actors' union strikes and personal drama. Cast members followed strict workout routines between scenes, and the team was professional and prepared.

Friendship blossomed between Ariana and co-star Cynthia Erivo. According to OK Magazine, "They quickly became inseparable," said an insider. "They think of themselves as sisters." The two stars shopped together in costumes inspired by their roles — Grande in bright pinks, Erivo in dark tones.

Rumors began circulating when Grande's new relationship with cast member Ethan Slater became public. Tabloids claimed he had abandoned his family when he asked his ex-wife, Lilly Jay, for a divorce. Jay later shared her candid thoughts on motherhood and marriage in The Cut. In fall of 2023, people spotted the new couple at Broadway's James Earl Jones Theatre.

Grande and Erivo faced other challenges. When fans shared edited images of Erivo's face from the movie poster, she quickly defended her artistic vision. Grande addressed accusations about her health and appearance, claiming she quit cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers four years ago.
