If you’re a Neil Diamond fan, you won’t want to miss A Beautiful Noise now playing at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall in Fort Myers

Last night I was invited to the Barbara B. Mann, along with other members of the media, for opening night of A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical. To say I was blown away is an understatement. I had been to this venue previously for concerts, most recently, Alice Cooper, but it was my first time seeing a musical there and I will most definitely be back. For fans of Neil Diamond, or even for those who casually enjoy his music, this is a show to get a ticket for as soon as possible.

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical is an amazing glimpse into the life of Neil Diamond. The story involves an older Neil and his therapist going through his songbook dissecting his lyrics. In between, there are performances full of singing, dancing and so much energy. And when it comes to Nick Fradiani, who played the younger Neil, I’m not kidding, if you closed your eyes, you would think you were listening to Neil Diamond himself. And fun fact, Nick was the winner of American Idol in 2015. This guy is absolutely incredible. As soon as he started singing, you could see audience member's jaws drop and saying "wow". I was one of them!

Everyone walking out of the theater was raving about this performance and it’s one that I would go to again in a heartbeat. And yes, if you were wondering, everyone was singing along, especially to the “ba ba baaa” and “so good, so good” of Sweet Caroline

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical is now playing through February 23. Tickets are in high demand and selling fast, but are still available here
