The annual Southwest Florida Ag Expo has filled the Lee County Civic Center Complex with eager crowds since opening day. More than 30,000 people have come through the gates in North Fort Myers, where the event runs until March 9. The opening weekend's Moonlight Madness drew big crowds with unlimited ride wristbands.
Food lovers can't get enough of the unique fair treats, like peanut butter and jelly hotdogs. Spencer Bradley, who was working the Eudora Wildlife petting zoo, told Cape Coral Breeze, "I know that everyone loves a funnel cake, but I like the deep-fried Oreos."
Sales are up from last year as people enjoy the attractions. From exciting rides to tasty food stands and interactive farm exhibits, there's something for everyone.
The expo is supported by sponsors like Creel Tractor Company, Reithoffer Shows, and Lightning Wireless Solutions.
Promotions and special entry days will continue throughout the event. Find out more at swflagexpo.com.
