After 15 years of running Cape Coral's hottest dance spot, the owners of Dixie Roadhouse have listed their nightclub for sale at $2.7 million.
"It's just time,” said Lynn Pippenger, owner of Dixie Roadhouse, to Fox 4. "We want to see someone's imagination really kind of come to life here, like ours did."
The massive 10,000-square-foot venue plans to keep regular hours during the sale process. An unused rooftop and front patio provide room for future expansion.
"It's stayed pretty steady for all 10 years," said marketing director David Townsend to Cape Coral Breeze. "Which is kind of unusual for night clubs. They usually start off bigger and fade out as people have been there and done that. Here, it's stayed steady and it's only gone up."
By blending country line dancing with late-night party music, the club found its sweet spot. DJs mix up different music styles throughout the night, keeping dancers moving.
