The 3rd Annual New Year's Eve 5K will open race day registration at 6 a.m. on Dec. 31. That gives runners two hours to collect shirts and bibs before the 8 a.m. start. Want to beat the crowd? An early pickup runs this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wahoo Willie's on Fort Myers Beach.

Sunday's early pickup happens before a show with the mayor. Runners who can't make it then? They'll have time on race day.

Wahoo Willie's is located on Old San Carlos Boulevard. Cross the Matanzas Pass Bridge, turn right at the new light, then make another right onto Old San Carlos. The venue sits at the end of the street on the left.
