Recently, I did a list of five celebrities who are rumored to be unkind, and I thought it was time to inject some positivity into our lives. While many celebrities are rumored to be unkind and rude, there are many more who you constantly hear people raving about.

You don't often hear about kind celebrities. Unfortunately, it's rude celebrities who tend to make headlines for their actions. Recently, actor Zachary Quinto went viral for allegedly being rude to restaurant staff in Toronto. Then, there's also the ongoing drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. However, there are still good people in Hollywood.

Some of the celebrities on the list are obvious. You've likely heard stories about their kindness and generosity for decades. Some of these people start to feel like our friends and family the way we feel like we know them.

On the internet, especially on sites like Reddit, it's easy to find stories of people who were disrespected by celebrities. It sounds like the negative stories are more sought out, but if you look, you can still find stories of celebrities who have gone out of their way to be nice when they didn't have to. It's just a much more boring story than an actor ripping apart staff at a restaurant or an actress getting pulled over and asking the officer if he knows who she is--looking at you, Reese Witherspoon!

Personally, I've had the chance to meet a few celebrities over the years. They say never to meet your favorite celebrities, but I can tell you that is not the case if your favorite celebrity is Stephen Colbert. You definitely want to meet him, and you won't be let down. He was so kind and took the time to talk to me and made me feel valued and appreciated. He didn't have to do that, but he did. I chose not to include him on the list, but you can consider Colbert to be an honorable mention.

I guess outside of Matthew Perry's book, at least. Fans are always raving about what a gentleman he is and how polite he is when they meet him. He's shown up at weddings, and seems like a genuine guy.

Not only is Shaq hilarious and one of the best athletes of our generation, he also seems like a great guy! There have been many stories out over the years about him buying things for people and he always has a smile on his face. There's no way you could be in a bad mood around Shaq. There's a new story about his kindness and generosity coming out all the time, and I hope I have the chance to meet him one day.

Have you ever heard anything bad about Adam Sandler? I certainly haven't. I feel like you can't be a jerk and dress the way he does. He's just like one of us! He could really be just another guy in our friend group. I love the stories about him playing pickup basketball with fans. Plus, he owns English Bulldogs. In my experience, mean people don't own English Bulldogs. Only the best of people do. I say that as a proud owner of an English Bulldog named Farley. I think Adam would appreciate that.

Tom Hanks has a reputation for being a kind man. It seems like he's definitely earned that reputation. I've never heard anything bad about him. Perhaps Henry Winkler might disagree, but I can't see Tom being a bad guy! Like Keanu he's also shown up at fans weddings and it looks like he was a great sport. There's no way he's a bad dude.

I have heard many a rumor that Emma Stone is good people. Any interview I've seen with her she comes off likable and relatable. She doesn't seem like your average A-Lister in Hollywood. I bet we could be friends. I've seen videos of her standing up for her friends and she comes off loyal and like a friend I would want in my life.
