Crystal River, Florida is a little slice of paradise tucked away in the Sunshine State. With crystal-clear waters and lots of marine life, Crystal River is the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature. Manatees are more often seen in the winter, as they come to warm up. But that’s not to say that you won’t see them!

The mermaids of Crystal River are a beloved local legend and can be seen swimming and performing in the waters of Weeki Wachee Springs, just a short drive from town.  Crystal River is also home to some of the best fishing in the state. You can also relax with your toes in the sand on Fort Island Gulf Beach or hit the green with some excellent golfing.
