Iman Shumpert made history Monday night when he became the first NBA star win in Dancing With The Stars.

Shumpert and partner Daniella Karagach Pashkova wowed judges in their finale performances with a fusion of the cha-cha and foxtrot to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire and a freestyle dance to "Lose Control" and "Bounce" by Missy Elliott and Ciara. Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson came in second place, Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke came in third place and Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten came in fourth place.

Back in September, the NBA star spoke about how preparing for DWTS was going, “Rehearsals are going good. I think that having the partner that I have is making it really easy,” Shumpert said per HotNewHipHop. “She’s fun and I think she does a really good job of understanding where my comfort zone is and doing a lot of the choreography that I’m able to look good rather than look like I don’t know what I’m doing out there.”
