Pamela Anderson Gets Candid About Not Wearing Makeup at 56

The former Baywatch star tells People in a new interview this week that she never meant the moment to go viral. As we previously reported, Anderson, 56, showed up to Paris Fashion Week makeup-free in September, and the internet and fellow celebrities went wild for her being bold enough to go natural at Fashion Week, of all times.
Jamie Lee Curtis took notice of the mom of two's beauty statement at the time. She proclaimed in her Instagram caption: “THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!" She noted Anderson taking part in the middle of fashion week "with so many pressures and postures," yet she showed up and "claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion."
Anderson's Current Lifetstyle
Now with "fresh eyes," Anderson tells People that she's already makeup-free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?" However, she thought no one would notice that she wasn't wearing makeup. Regardless, the actress is glad it became a positive message. These days, Anderson confidently states that she doesn't care about getting older. "I call it 'life-ing,' not aging," she tells the publication. "Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now."
Where Anderson plants her feet is by the water on Vancouver Island, BC, off Canada's Pacific coast. She is currently renovating her grandmother's legacy property with her parents. Anderson spends her days gardening, meditating, growing her own food, and being surrounded by nature and animals. She's also working on shows about sustainable living. "I don't have to be cool anymore," she says about what she loves about this stage of life. "I can just be me. It's very freeing to be comfortable in your own skin."
Pamela Denise Anderson was born on July 1, 1967, in British Columbia. Pamela was first "discovered" at a British Columbia Lions football game when her image was shown on the stadium screen. The fans cheered her and she was brought down to the football field, and because of her fame in Vancouver, she signed a commercial contract with Labatt's beer to be the "Blue Zone Girl." After she booked more ads, Playboy soon approached her and by October 1989, she was on the cover of Playboy magazine.
With success from Playboy, Anderson moved to Los Angeles, California in 1990. A year later, she made her television debut on Home Improvement, where she starred as Lisa, the Tool Time Girl. Anderson appeared for 23 episodes from 1991-1997. Anderson then left to focus on Baywatch, playing the role of C.J. Parker.
In 1994, Pamela met Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee on New Year's Eve 1994 in New York City. In February 1995, they got married in Cancun, Mexico. The couple welcomed two sons over the next few years, Brandon Thomas Lee (born June 6, 1996) and Dylan Jagger Lee (December 29, 1997). During this time, the couple had their pornographic video stolen from their home. Both of them sued the website that stole the video, but their case was not settled and the video is still on the internet. Two months later, Pamela filed for divorce when her husband assaulted her and he was sentenced to six months in jail.
