Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse Expecting First Child

Robert Pattinson and his longtime girlfriend Suki Waterhouse are going to be parents. On Sunday (November 19), the model and singer, 31, took the stage at the Coronoa Capital Festival in Mexico City and surprised the crowd by sharing some major news. In a fan-captured video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Waterhouse said, "I'm extra sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that's going on." While wearing a glittery minidress with a feathery coat, the "Good Looking" singer opened her coat up to reveal a baby bump, with the crowd roaring in cheers. "I'm not sure if it's working," she jokingly added before beginning her performance.

Waterhouse has been in a relationship with the Batman star, 37, for more than five years. The couple was first romantically linked in July 2018, when a source told People they were "dating" after they were spotted putting on some PDA while out together in London. In an interview with The Sunday Times in February of this year, Waterhouse opened up about her relationship with Pattinson. "I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years," she said, adding that the couple never goes more than two months without seeing each other. "I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I'm going back to see him." The Daisy Jones & The Six star also shared that she still gets "incredibly excited" when Pattinson's name pops up on her phone. "I think he feels the same about me," she noted. "We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious."

Besides being in the next two installments of The Batman film series, Pattinson will next be seen in a film directed by Parasite's Bong Joon-ho, titled Mickey 17. Premiering in March 2024, the rest of the cast includes Steven Yeun, Naomi Ackie, Toni Collette, and Mark Ruffalo. The sci-fi film is based on the dystopian novel entitled Mickey 7 by Edward Ashton.

However, birth rates have declined in most states across the US in recent years, as women are having babies at an older age, according to data released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Birth rates among women in their late 30s and early 40s rose in the last decade, and the birth rate among women over 45 also exceeded one birth per 1,000 population for the first time in more than a decade. Meanwhile, the teen birth rate dropped to a record low last year, according to the data.

Notoriously private, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in December 2022. The pair have been linked since October 2017, but neither Olsen nor Eisner have spoken about their relationship publicly and have kept a low profile through the years. Eisner is an artist and the son of jewelry designer Lisa Eisner.

Celebrating the news on Instagram, Palmer wrote, in part, in her caption: "Born during Black History Month, with a name to match!" Palmer famously revealed her pregnancy during the opening monologue while she was hosting the December 3, 2022 episode of Saturday Night Live rubbing her pregnant belly.

The actors welcomed their baby girl Matilda in March to the first-time parents. The pair announced Matilda's birth on Instagram on April 1, introducing her as "the new light of our lives." Since then, the Flight Attendant star has shared the couple's joy with her followers on Instagram.

The couple welcomed their third child in January, but have not publicly revealed their baby boy's name. Levine and Prinsloo already share daughters Dusty Rose and Gio Grace.
