Ryan Reynolds Channels Taylor Swift
The actor shared a new Deadpool photo on his since-expired Instagram Story showing the Marvel superhero’s back in the middle of a snowy forest. Swifties were quick to notice the similarities to Swift’s evermore album cover. Reynolds even added Swift’s "evermore" track featuring Bon Iver to the Instagram post.
The post by the actor also reignited rumors that Swift would make a cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine. In 2022, Reynolds said he was game to having Swift appear in the Marvel film. He told ET, “If we shoot the next Deadpool film in our house, then that would be that location." He added that he would like for Swift to appear in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine saying, "Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius."
Over on X, fans reacted to the possible Swift cameo. One person wrote: "i hope she’s in the movie because if he’s doing this and she isn’t [sobbing emojis]." Another added a playful nickname for Taylor's cameo: "taypool is becoming a reality omg." A third Swiftie commented: "Deadpool X Taylor S."
There have been previous collaborations between Swift and Reynolds. The pop icon's “All Too Well” music video was shot at Reynolds’ and his wife Blake Lively’s home. Reynolds also made a cameo in Swift’s 2019 “You Need to Calm Down” music video.
Though Swifties want to see the Grammy winner in Deadpool 3, EW recently reported that Swift isn't making a cameo. The news comes as IMAX debuted a new poster for the film on social media earlier this week featuring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman holding hands, wearing friendship bracelets like the ones that have become synonymous with Swift's Eras Tour.
Director Shawn Levy revealed to the outlet that the film has many cameos, but they "didn’t want any of the cameos or characters to be the story of the movie." He added that "the internet is a delight of rumors about the multitude of character cameos that are in this movie. Some rumors are true, some are way off base."

When Reynolds and Jackman attended one of the Kansas City Chiefs NFL games last October with Levy and Swift, rumors of Swift appearing in the upcoming film began spreading like wildfire online.

Ryan Reynolds Thinks These Disney Classics Deserve R-Ratings
Ryan Reynolds thinks Disney should reconsider the ratings on a few of the studio's classic films. As Disney+ announced yesterday (July 21) that the R-rated Marvel movies Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Logan will soon be available to stream on the service, Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, couldn't help but share his thoughts on the move.
"We're supposed to announce Logan and Deadpool will soon be the first R-rated movies on Disney+. But we all know some Disney movies should already be rated R for irreversible trauma," Reynolds tweeted.
See which Disney Classics Reynolds called out below:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
"Breaking and entering. Borderline polyandry. Pretty sure those diamonds aren't cruelty-free."
Old Yeller
"Total ugly-cry inducing straight up murder of Old Yeller. Also, bear abuse."
The Lion King
"Fratricide. Mauling. Very possibly half-sibling lovin', or at least kissin' cousins. Seriously."
Bambi
"Cold-blooded killing of an innocent deer mom, that will cause lifelong trauma."
