Get ready for some great music this spring as Florida Southwestern State College rolls out its free concert series at two Fort Myers spots. Students will perform alongside a special guest musician.
The FSW Jazz Ensemble kicks things off on April 8 at the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall. This top-notch venue, with its 1,874 seats and the biggest stage in the region, is Southwest Florida's premier spot for performances.
The FSW College Choir follows with a show at the Alliance for the Arts on April 16. This cornerstone of the community has been bringing culture to Fort Myers since 1975. All shows open their doors at 6:30 p.m., with performances beginning at 7 p.m.
Student bands take over at the Barbara B Mann Performing Arts Hall on April 22. The FSW Rock Ensembles, featuring The Black Pearl Band and Queen Anne's Revenge, will light up the stage.
The final concert series will be on April 23. The FSW Symphony Orchestra and Concert Band will perform with guest trumpeter Vince DiMartino.
