Southwest Florida will be packed with family activities this April. From science camps to Easter celebrations, these events will bring fun and learning across the region.

Young artists can show their creativity at the Golisano Children's Museum of Naples. Their April 4-5 workshops will show 6- to 10-year-olds how to do Indian block printing and Japanese calligraphy.

Unity of Naples will host their magical Fairy Festival on April 5. Kids will make crafts, hear stories, and follow butterflies through garden paths.

Three big Earth Day celebrations will take place across the area. At Whispering Oaks Farm, little ones ages 1 to 5 will learn gardening basics in Tinker Gardeners classes on April 8 and 22. On April 12, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida will host live animal encounters, feature nature exhibits, and have themed crafts. Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium will combine climate science with eco-art on April 19.

To get in the Easter spirit, Immokalee Pioneer Museum will host the Easter Ranch Roundup on April 12, while M&M Farms will host egg hunts on April 19. In Cape Coral, City First Church will celebrate Eggfest 2025 on April 19. Between egg hunts, children can pet friendly animals at the petting zoo. Paradise Coast Sports Complex will have bounce houses and face painting at their Eggstravaganza on April 20.

At Edison Ford Winter Estates, kids can attend the Science Fiction and Science Fact Day Camp on April 18. Children in kindergarten through fifth grade will explore hands-on STEAM projects and experiments.

Mud and fun await at the Muddy Kids Family Obstacle Mud Run on April 20. Kids 5 to 17 can splash, climb, and crawl through muddy obstacles.

These events require registration. Check each location's guidelines for age limits and group sizes before attending.
