Watch: This Dad Lulls His Baby To Sleep With Details About His Work
While lullabies and bedtime stories are great for soothing kids to sleep, one resourceful dad found another alternative.
The New York-based father simply bored his child to sleep by giving him an excruciatingly detailed description of what he does for a living. In the video, Kevin Payne is seen talking to his sleepy son about his life as a technology resiliency manager. The little boy instantly begins to nod off, which causes his father to exclaim, “Hey! Hey! It’s not THAT boring!”
From there, Payne continues to delve into further detail about his job, and the baby keeps catching some zzz’s until he’s eventually knocked out cold. This is actually a genius idea. Any parent who’s tired of reading the same stories or singing the same children’s songs over and over should give it a try.
