There’s Now a Jewelry Line That Pays Homage to Pasta
Remember when you were in elementary school and you would make your mom necklaces out of pasta for Mother’s Day?
A jewelry designer has taken that concept, but turned it into a luxury product. Alison Lou has created a line of pasta-themed jewelry, and it’s a perfect way to pay homage to a food we all love.
You could grab a penne ring:
Or wear a combination of different types of noodles in each hole:
Rock bow tie noodle earrings:
Or wear a tiny fork and spoon around your neck:
We love the idea of showing off our love of pasta. It’s a delicious food, it’s versatile (top it with Alfredo sauce, marinara, turn it into ravioli, etc.) plus it looks adorable when crafted into jewelry. Here are a few other food items we think would serve as perfect bauble inspiration:
Tacos
Is there a better day of the week than Taco Tuesday? We think not. You could pay homage to everyone’s favorite, easy-to-hold food with a line of taco-themed items. How about a dainty little taco ring? What about earrings where one earring is a taco and the other is a margarita? Don’t forget the guacamole-themed accessories too.
Pizza
The ultimate comfort food, pizza certainly deserves its own line of jewelry. You already seen plenty of shirts in its honor, now lets elevate that and turn it into jewelry.
Sushi
Sushi is a food that is equal parts visually appealing and delicious, making it the perfect contender for its own jewelry line.
Donuts
Wouldn’t the cheerful little sprinkles and bright pink frosting look so precious on earrings, a pendant, or a bracelet?
We realize that most of these items aren’t exactly the healthiest, and we’re okay with that. We love and respect you, salad, but you aren’t worthy of your own jewelry line just yet.
