The Great Becky Debate Lingers
When The Roseanne Show was in it’s heyday, clearly the main topic of discussion was ‘Which Becky do you prefer?”. A purist would always go for ‘Original Becky’ while late-comers were drawn to ‘New Becky’. ‘New Becky’ is, of course, also know as ‘That girl on Scrubs’. With the return of the show, also brings the return of the original cast. OB is back, with NB taking on a different role. I’m all for this, see, New Becky (Sara Chalke) is the voice of Beth on Rick And Morty. Rick And Morty may be the greatest show on television. Sara doesn’t need the distraction of being Becky. She’ll still be on the show- just cast as a different character.
Really, if you want to be like the original show, they show swap the two Becky’s repeatedly and then make jokes about it. I know my Roseanne.
