Nicki Minaj Drags Drake, Meek, Karrueche & More In Powerful ‘Queen’ Diss Track ‘Barbie Dreams’
Nicki surprised fans with the release of her album “Queen” on Friday. Already fans have their favorite picks off the album and “Barbie Dreams” has everyone talking. Inspired by Notorious B.I.G.’s “Just Playing (Dreams)” from Ready To Die, “Barbie Dreams” is Nicki’s account of sex with some of her rap peers including Drake, 50 Cent, and her ex Meek Mill, who she says is still in her DMs.
Nicki’s lyrics about 50 caught his attention, in the song Nicki raps, “I tried to f**k 50 for a powerful hour, but all that ni**a wanna do is talk ‘Power’ for hours,” 50 responded with a tweet that read, “South Side stand up the b**ch @nickiminaj is really a problem. Out here killing sh*t.”
Nicki discussed her controversial lyrics, “Barbie Dreams” is not a diss. “You guys know that that’s not a diss?” she said. “I love them and I said things about people who can take a joke and won’t be emotional about it.”
