According to the Sun UK, Sheeran may be cast as a stormtrooper and join the ranks of other notable cameos. Mark Hamill, Simon Pegg, and Daniel Craig all have had cameos in the iconic movie, however, sometimes cameos do end up on the cutting room floor like Prince William and Prince Harry’s cameos in The Last Jedi. Details of Star Wars: Episode IX have been kept under wraps but actor Oscar Isaac did reveal that Star Wars veteran, Carrie Fisher will be with the cast for the new movie as scenes that were shot before her death in 2016 will be repurposed to give an ending to her story.
