Carey Hart took to Instagram to "poke the parent police bear" as he said.
He posted a video of his 7 year old daughter shooting a rifle and learning about gun safety. He commented that she has been shooting since the age of 3. He said they don't hunt, just shooting for a sport. He said that he is raising his kids with knowledge of firearms, how to handle them, how to shoot them, store them and avoid them in uneducated hands. Critics did not like that he taught his daughter how to shoot at the age of 3.
Carey likes a good debate so he took the time to respond to his critics. If Carey never posted on social media the video of his daughter shooting and at what age she learned, we would never know.
