The Internet is dragging actress Michelle Rodriguez for comments that she made regarding her co-star, Liam Neeson and his confession about wanting to “kill” the black person that allegedly rape his friend.
On the red carpet of Vanity Fair’s AmFar Gala, Rodriguez insisted that Neeson is not a racist, “Dude, have you watched ‘Widows’? His tongue was so far down Viola Davis’ throat. You can’t call him a racist, ever. Racists don’t make out with the race that they hate, especially in the way he does with his tongue—so deep down her throat...It’s all bull***t. Ignore it. He’s not a racist. He’s a loving man. It’s all lies,” said Rodriguez. TV One talk show host Roland Martin tweeted, “Michelle Rodriguez just needs to stop commenting. She clearly enjoys getting dragged for her analysis.” Neeson went on Good Morning America to discuss his outrage with Robin Roberts, he said that he was shocked by his “primal urge”, he said it hurt him and he sought help for it.
Do you understand Liam’s reason for being upset to the point that he wanted to kill a black person? Do you feel that people can change their prejudices?
