Abel Osundairo, one of the brother's who helped Smollett allegedly stage the attack sold Smollett the drug, "Molly" several times since the Spring of 2018.
This could give Smollett an "out" and use it as a "mitigating factor" when it is time for sentencing. In court documents he answered "no" to whether he had any mental or alcohol problems.
