Taylor Swift will appear on CBS Sunday Morning this Sunday, August 25, and she will discuss plans to re-record her catalog.

The Hollywood Reporter explains that in a clip of the upcoming interview, Swift reveals that she will re-record her entire songbook. This is in response to the $300 million deal that Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Label Group founder) had that gave Braun's Ithaca Holdings ownership of the master recordings of her catalog. That means that, in essence, there will be two versions of every Taylor Swift album through 2017's Reputation: the original version on Big Machine, and a newer version (and those will be the ones that Swift is likely to promote, sell at her concerts, etc.).

"Scott Borchetta never gave Taylor Swift an opportunity to purchase her masters, or the label, outright with a check in the way he is now apparently doing for others," said Taylor Swift's attorney, Don Passman.

Swift went to her Tumblr page back in June to voice how upset she was with the entire ordeal.

The CBS Sunday Morning interview will also have an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Taylor's new music video.

The interview will be on CBS at 9 a.m. ET
