Panama City school finds something unexpected in a student’s backpack: a bearded dragon

This Florida story comes from Bay County School District in Panama City.  School officials say they found a bearded dragon in a middle school student's backpack yesterday.

"Jangos" the bearded dragon made the trip to school because the student that brought the dragon to school didn't want him to be sad at home alone all day.

The school reminded parents to check their kid's backpacks before they leave for school.
