A man broke in to her apartment on Sunday morning around 4 a.m. in the 4900 Block of Vincennes Court. She says she went to sleep around 1:30am and she woke up a few hours later when she felt someone on her shoulder.
The man kept "shushing" her and professed his love for her. The victim eventually convinced the man to go outside and she closed the door behind him.
Cape Coral Police found a man matching the exact description, standing upstairs. The man was staying with her neighbor. Police didn't arrest him because it was a "drunken mistake."
The case will not get further investigation and no detective will be assigned to the case.
