Queen Latifah Is the Only Good Part of Soggy ‘Little Mermaid Live!’

The Little Mermaid Live came to life on Tuesday evening (November 5th) and all eyes were on Queen Latifah as she portrayed the evil sea witch. 

Alongside Moana's Auli'i Cravalho who played Ariel, Graham Phillips as Prince Eric and Shaggy as Sebastian the crab, Latifah stole the show with her rendition of the sea witch’s signature song, "Poor Unfortunate Souls."

Critics were underwhelmed by the Flounder puppet that looks like it came from the puppet bargain bin and Shaggy’s lobster costume or lack thereof.
