The lawsuit claims that a piece of machinery that was hot set the dry grass on fire that was on the property back in 2017.
It was called the "Husana fire" and it burned 245 acres over a span of four days.
California Fire has been trying to get the money back from the burger chain, but have had no success.
So they filed a lawsuit to recoup the funds.
