Michelle Obama’s New TV Show Is Coming To Instagram

The former First Lady's latest TV project is coming to a very small screen near you. Michelle Obama's new TV show will run on Instagram, according to Variety.

The series, A Year Of Firsts, will follow first-year college students as they prepare for their future. For the new show, Obama is teaming up with the website ATTN: to show how these freshmen navigate the world of higher education, chronicling the ups and downs of a full school year like making new friends and picking a major.

“As a first-generation college student myself, I know how intimidating it can be to take that leap and pursue your educational dreams,” Obama wrote on Instagram. “That’s why I’m so proud of these students. By sharing their stories, they’re helping others see that the ups and downs of the first year of college are something everyone goes through — and they’re creating a supportive community for others facing similar challenges.”

The series is also part of Obama's Reach Higher initiative, which helps students get to and through college.

A Year Of Firsts is set to debut on IGTV in mid-January.
