List Of Events In SWFL Canceled Or Postponed Because Of Coronavirus
As concerns over the coronavirus continue to grow, Southwest Florida officials are taking precautionary steps to keep residents safe. Here is an ongoing list of canceled or postponed events in Southwest Florida.
Collier County
- Naples Senior Center cancels Wednesday luncheon
- 44th Annual Naples St. Patrick’s Day Parade is canceled

— Marco Island Police Department (@MarcoIslandPD) March 11, 2020">Marco Island Police Department Community Event plans to reschedule the event- Ave Maria Town Center has canceled special events “for the remainder of the season,” according to town officials.
- 2020 Naples Flower Show at the Naples Botanical Garden has canceled this year’s event. The garden will remain open for daily guests.
- Naples Big Band Concert at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs canceled on the recommendation of the City of Bonita Springs.
- Immokalee Bluegrass Festival at Seminole Casino. Canceled.
Lee County
- Madisen’s Match 2020 events have been canceled
- Disney on Ice: Mickey’s Search Party on March 27
- Island Coast-FEA cancels Wednesday TLC rep meeting and Thursday third-quarter social

- St. Patrick’s Day Trolley in downtown Cape Coral canceled.
- St. Patrick’s Day Block Party in downtown Fort Myers canceled.

- Clewiston Sugar Festival canceled
Charlotte County
- Babcock Ranch is postponing large-scale events through March 31.
- The 4th Annual Punta Gorda Sullivan Street Craft Festival is canceled.
- Fitness Festival at Babcock Ranch scheduled for Saturday, March 28 canceled event.
- Peace River Revival music festival in downtown Punta Gorda. Postponed until 2021.
