Is It Time for Another ‘Scarface’ Remake? It’s Coming A remake of the classic movie 'Scarface' is in the works. It has been in development for three years. It will be set in Los Angeles and the script will be from the Joel and Ethan Coen version.
Scarface has been adapted many times with the 1983 version starring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer being the most recent. No release date or casting announcement yet. Is the 1983 version too much of a classic to remake? Who do you think could play a convincing Tony Montana?
