Devastating Images From The Hennessey Fire In Napa County California
California Governor Gavin Newsom in a statement says the state is battling 367 wildfires, 23 of them are major. Many of the fires were caused by the over 10,000 lightning strikes that have occurred in the state over the last 3 days. California is in the midst of a heat wave with a temperature of 130 degrees record in Death Valley.
Tens of thousands are people are under evacuation orders, many near the city of Vacaville, a city of 100,000 just 35 miles away from Sacramento. Here are some images from the fire:
