Disney+ announced that the long-awaited second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian will start on October 30. The series, which introduced the character known as "The Child," but is referred to by fans as "Baby Yoda," is the first live-action Star Wars TV series.

Weirdly, the announcement wasn't accompanied by any footage of the show, but they did share a new logo, which shows the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda together. The Mandalorian finished shooting before the pandemic hit, so it's release has not been impacted by the coronavirus as much as other television productions, including another hotly-anticipated Disney+ show, The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, which stars two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. That show's production was interupted by the pandemic.
